In our quest to provide World-Class customer service, in 2016 we added a new service: An in-bound Customer Service call center. Up until now, the wine industry has been woefully under-resourced in both people and relevant technology to solve World-Class Customer Service. Customers who were calling into the Winery for wine club ship notifications, billing updates, tour and reservation requests, promotions, and wine purchases and more, were often underserved due to staffing and inadequate technology. The Tasting Room staff should be focusing their time on explaining the wine that they just poured for the customer at the tasting bar, and not answering the phone trying to solve problems.
Our highly-trained Customer Service team answers thousands of calls for our Winery Partners. We answer 95% of those calls within 7 seconds, and our advanced call routing software as well as CRM tools present the customer’s information to whoever answers the call. This allows the tasting room staff to focus on the customers at the winery and provide a world-class experience.
